The three sisters was a commissioned piece. It was done in a more comedic style to try to convey the mischievous nature of the dogs.

This was a commissioned work of a German Shorthaired Pointer. He is pictured here in the marshes on Edisto Island, SC. I was trying to achieve a more traditional style painting, depicting a hunting dog.

I had a lot of fun with this one. These were two 6' tall flamingos stationed outside of a shop in Florida. As soon as I saw them, I knew I had to put them on canvas.

This was such a fun subject. She just seemed to want to jump off the paper and into my lap. Her expression was priceless.

I know. The title is really silly. It just came to me. These three sweet faces were just begging to be painted as they waited patiently to be fed.

The long shadows cast by the trees across the field in late afternoon were a challenge and fun to work out.
